How it works

For tasting wines by the glass L'Essentiel offers two different atmospheres.

In the main room, facing the walls of bottles, there is a stainless-steel counter for that easy-going French bistrot feel, while at the back of the boutique, the cosy lounge has a more intimate VIP atmosphere.

We propose a selection of dry and sweet whites, champagnes and of course red wines.

L’Essentiel offers grands crus and premiers grands crus classés such as Ausone, Cheval Blanc, Angélus, Pavie and many others, not forgetting garage wines such as Valandraud.

Tasting by the glass can be accompanied by a plate of cheese from Jean d’Alos, the master of cheese maturing in Bordeaux, or some delicatessen from Chez Lafitte
